Martin

Martin is very helpful and patient. I have no doubt I will become much more fluent in Spanish as I continue to take weekly lessons with him.

I have been very fortunate with the teachers I’ve gotten to work with before, but Martin has been my absolute favorite teacher so far. He was extremely prepared for our class, but he was willing to adapt to whatever my needs and desires were. He was unbelievably patient and encouraging. His passion for teaching shone through our lesson together, and his demeanor was so much more enjoyable than I could’ve hoped for. I have never enjoyed a class so much before. Do yourself a favor and book a lesson with him before the secret is out.

Martin is an excellent tutor! He prepares lessons specifically for what I need to work on. He shares his screen and we do various exercises to improve my listening, pronunciation, and to learn more vernacular. We practice conversation but also do a structured lesson that he prepares in advance, which I think is super impressive. Most of my other tutors just chit chat, but Martin actually prepares for the lesson. His accent is neutral and very easy to understand, plus he has great availability for hours. Highly recommend!

I've been taking lessons with Martin for a few weeks, and I feel like I'm already noticing significant improvements. As an intermediate Spanish learner, I had been feeling stuck and wasn't sure how to keep making progress, but Martin has been incredibly helpful in identifying areas for improvement and addressing them with tailored exercises. He comes prepared to each class with lesson plans that are specifically designed for my needs. Martin also teaches in a patient, effective way--he corrects me in real time, but does so in a way that doesn't interrupt the flow of conversation or make me feel stressed. Our sessions balance conversation, grammar and vocabulary, which keeps the lessons varied and engaging. His thoughtful questions also encourage me to express myself on a variety of topics, and his enthusiasm makes every class enjoyable. I can't recommend lessons with Martin highly enough.

I had a trial lesson with Martin and was very pleased. Martin was patient and attentive. He explained the vocabulary very clearly. I felt relaxed and not rushed. We even had some good laughs. I'd like to continue with him.
