Tomokoさん helped me with the Causative form and it was a really good experience learning grammar in her style. She was prepared with textbook materials, scenarios, and drills to help me understand the pattern of the conjugation. Tomokoさん made me feel safe when making mistakes and is a very encouraging teacher. I’m happy with the work we did today.

This was my first italki trial lesson so I didn’t know what to expect, but Tomoko led the lesson very professionally. She was able to guide the conversation well and was very encouraging while assessing the language level I’m at. She was very helpful with finding the words I mean to say and explaining different words and grammar points. I’m very happy with how this first lesson turned out.

But beyond even that success, are the feedback sheets provided after every lesson. They are an excellent summary of what was covered, and what should be reviewed. This dramatically reduces the burden of note taking, allowing me to focus on my primary objective, learning the language.
