Welcome, aspiring English and Spanish learners! My name is Juan and I'm excited to have you as my student and help you achieve your goals in mastering your language skills. Before I became a teacher, I had a few careers in the film industry, I was a BTS photographer/film production coordinator. Now I travel and focus on teaching languages, mainly English and Spanish. So whether you're a beginner or intermediate learner, together we will work on improving speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. I'm a lover of languages, and I believe that language learning opens doors to endless possibilities. With a background in film and a deep appreciation for all facets of life, I bring a unique perspective to the classroom. I've been teaching English/Spanish for just over 3 years on various other popular platforms and it has been such a blessing. I am currently seeking a teaching certification as I travel the globe. I also enjoy to share stories, experiences, and perspectives from different cultures, infusing my lessons with diversity and richness. My teaching style as a language teacher is the communicative approach. This approach focuses on teaching the language in context and creating real-life situations for students to use the language. Utilizing my background in film/performing arts, students are encouraged to communicate and use the language actively, rather than just passively receiving information. I also serve as a motivator with my unique insight and teaching experience on various other platforms. Our first class was really interesting and very useful! We talked about different topics and teacher Juan Pablo corrected my mistakes, putting them in the chat so that I can review them after class. The conversation was very pleasant and I didn't even notice the time passing!

Juan Pablo, I'm really grateful to you. I think not everyone can be a teacher; working in this profession requires patience and a love for it. I saw this in my first class with you.
Someone once told me, "If you don't have money, you'll never learn English." It was my motivation to start this journey and to believe in myself.

It's always great to talk to Juan Pablo, he's not only engaging but also really helpful. I love that he lets me speak and at the same time he pays attention on every word, expression I use. And at the end of the lesson we go through all my mistakes and discuss them. I surely recommend this teacher for everyone who wants to practice and improve their English.
