My name is Diana, and I'm a Portuguese and English tutor.
I'm from Portugal 🇵🇹 but I have been learning English 🇬🇧 since I was a kid and I also speak Spanish.
I enjoy traveling, singing, and playing the piano. I love watching football and going to comedy shows. 🎹 ⚽

As a teacher, I listen to what you need to help you learn and make lessons that fit your goals.
I started teaching Portuguese this year and English in 2023, working in person with kids and teens, but I quickly realized I enjoy teaching adults the most.
In Portugal, I teach corporate English to professionals online. On Italki, I have taught adults from three different continents, giving me a chance to learn about many different cultures and ways of life. 🌎

I had my trial lesson with Diana, my first language lesson on a talking platform. Diana went through introductions and greetings and asked me to say the ones I know, and then the ones I didn’t. Diana was encouraging and patient, I shall be booking further lessons and looking forward to learning and practicing speaking European Portuguese.

I feel confident and comfortable speaking English with Diana. She makes you feel comfortable and talks to you to help you improve your conversation skills without making you feel bad or embarrassed. She is also a great way to have a conversation, making it feel natural and spontaneous, like you would be with friends.
