Ciao, my name is Chiara and I'm native Italian. I've got a Master degree in translation studies and an Italian Master degree in Teaching Italian as a second language. I run Sositalian.com, a blog about Italy and Italian language, and I provide online Italian lessons, and English to Italian translations I really love teaching my language and I always try to create a relaxed environment. Do not hesitate to contact me if you want to learn Italian from scratch, improve your Italian or prepare for Cils or Celi exams.

I've experience in teaching both English and Italian. I've taught children, teenagers and adults in person for a couple of years in both private and public schools. From 2015 I only teach online. I've taught Italian successfully to people of different nationalities Spanish, English, French, German, Japanese, Russian, etc, and I know quite well the difficulties you might face when learning Italian, so I'm here to help you overcome them.

In trial lessons we'll have a little chat. This is your opportunity to talk about your needs, expectations, interests and will also allow me to assess your level, and explain how lessons will be organized. I offer different types of lessons. You can have an idea of what you can expect from them by reading their description before booking them. In general, I try to create a relaxed and friendly environment and I prefer a communicative approach, so talking will be a good part of our lessons. **Informal lessons** - Not available anymore.

Chiara is a very laid back and chatty conversation partner who gives great feedback/corrections in writing. It really is like talking to a friend! I have very much appreciated practicing my Italian with her, and I hope to continue in the future. I’m generally always very nervous before having to talk in Italian but once we get chatting I literally forget my nerves within minutes 😊 Chiara has also provided me with texts on interesting topics in advance, which is a great service.
