Hello!
My name is Andrew and I am an English Teacher and Actor based in Manchester. English is my native language and I have had classroom training in teaching Foreign Language, so I am very confident that I can help you on your English journey.
I have a BA(Hons) degree in Acting and I specialise in teaching public-speaking confidence and articulatory phonetics (the mechanics of how the mouth makes sounds).
Lots of my spare time is spent watching tv, playing games and reading comics, but I am also learning Japanese so I understand the challenges that come with studying foreign languages.Moi en tant que professeur
Teaching is incredibly enjoyable for me and my hope is that students leave each lesson feeling relaxed, happy and confident in their abilities.
I am very passionate about my job and will do my best to help you meet your goals. I largely focus on speaking fluency and the ability to use English with confidence in any setting, whether that's casually amongst friends or at a business conference. As my student, your needs will be my top priority.

My lessons will mostly be conversational as I believe the best way of learning a language is through frequent usage. We will chat about a variety of topics and focus on vocabulary and grammar that will be most useful in real-life scenarios.
I like to keep things fun, so I tend to incorporate games and role-play activities into my lessons. This means we can focus on areas of improvement in a light-hearted and stress-free manner.
If you have specific areas you would like to work on, I am happy to change my lessons to suit you! We can work on written grammar, exam preparation, pronunciation, accent and more!
