Hi, my name is Leslie. I am a native English speaker of British decent and live in sunny South Africa.
I worked in the hospitality and catering industry for many years when an amazing opportunity came knocking which I embraced and found myself in working in Asia, travelling from city to city and country to country as a marketing executive for many years where communication was the key to success. I love travelling, meeting new people, learning new languages and experiencing new cultures. At home I enjoy being involved in community projects, cooking and the outdoors.Moi en tant que professeur
My love for teaching became apparent when I was working overseas and being the only English speaker everybody looked at for advice and guidance, and specially in a foreign country where most of the people did not speak, read or understand English. I studied to be an English teacher and received my 120Hour TEFL certificate and for the past couple of years I have been tutoring and doing conversational English with students from all over the world. I am easy going, approachable and very patient. I have tutored students from Thailand, China and Vietnam.Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
My lessons are usually topic and conversational based in a very relaxed atmosphere and lessons are always filled with fun and laughter. I like to ensure my students understand the lessons by using visual aids while practicing grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.Mes ressources d'enseignement
