Hi there! I'm Jake and I'm an English teacher from London, UK. I am currently teaching in Zaragoza, Spain where I have remained for the last 10 years. I have a keen interest in travel, culture, music and of course football! One of my biggest interests is learning Spanish, which is something I have viewed as a daily challenge since the day I first arrived in Spain.Moi en tant que professeur
I've provided English classes to learners of all ages and levels but in recent years I've mainly focused on students that are preparing for exams and of course learners aiming to improve their speaking, online and in-person. Students tend to view me as a teacher that they can feel comfortable around whilst improving their English. Helping them feel confident and less shy as they try to articulate their grammar and newly-learned vocabulary is something that I take pride in.Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
I provide dynamic and productive classes that center around speaking based on a 'learn as you go' method aimed at improving and focusing on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and fluency. I allow the student to speak without interruption and then come back to their speech at the end with any important and useful corrections, additional vocabulary and expressions. This method has proven to be very popular with those that are working towards scoring 7.5 or higher in IELTS speaking as well as other formal speaking exams. I make sure that all speaking topics, material, homework (which is optional!) and questions are easy to follow and perfectly tailored to each student's level.Mes ressources d'enseignement
