Hi, I’m Nicole!
I was born in Nicaragua and raised in Boston, and I’m now living the digital nomad life across Europe. I’m passionate about exploring the world, whether that’s through travel, hiking, or camping under the stars. I love connecting with people, discovering new cultures, and learning languages—currently diving into Portuguese and Italian! I'm also a big fan of plants, animals, and contemporary art. But more than anything, I thrive on teaching and learning; there’s nothing I enjoy more than exchanging knowledge and ideas.Moi en tant que professeur
As a teacher, my priority is understanding your goals, strengths, and learning style to create a personalized plan that builds on what you do well and targets the areas you need support in. Once we identify your challenges and what works best for you, we follow a 4–8 week plan focused on your specific mistakes, confusions, or goals. I use varied exercises to guide you out of your comfort zone while keeping the learning process natural and effective. My teaching method is built on simplicity and immersion. From day one, we’ll communicate in English, seamlessly integrating the language into your daily life. I’ll help you find opportunities to practice outside of class, ensuring continuous learning beyond traditional lessons.
My classes are dynamic and engaging. In the first half, we’ll focus on conversation—starting with scripts and readings, then diving into discussions on topics and current events that interest you to keep you motivated. First time ever using Italki and oh my God! I should have used it earlier. Wonderful teacher with a positive attitude who was always willing to check my pronunciation problems. I feel comfortable talking with her and for sure I'm going to book more lessons. I need this kind of pedagogical interaction for my professional life.
