I'm from England and have been a qualified teacher since 1980. I have taught General and Business English in schools and companies in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, and Brunei. I was an IELTS examiner in speaking and writing in Brunei for 10 years and taught UK 'O' levels in a secondary school there. Apart from teaching IELTS I also enjoy discussing a wide range of subjects such as business and current events. If you would like to practice for a job interview we can practice common questions about your experience. Most of my students on ITALKI are doing IELTS. I conduct practice tests and discuss all of the current topics in speaking and writing. I am a versatile teacher and can adapt my style to the needs and level of the students. I was quite worried before the test, but the instructor was kind and explained everything in detail, which really eased my anxiety. Also, during the lesson, I was able to clearly see the weaknesses that I hadn’t noticed when practicing alone. It helped me understand exactly which areas I need to work on, which I really appreciated.
