Marian

Marian has taught me some very useful expressions that I will be able to use in the future. She teaches me at my level (beginner), so I am able to understand a lot of what she says, which feels good! If there is something I don't understand, she is generally able to explain a word in Welsh, and I appreciate that. I have booked a package of lessons as I am very happy with the way she teaches.

Another thoroughly enjoyable lesson with Marian. I really appreciate her inventiveness in explaining new words using only Welsh (and not just saying the English). Marian is easy to understand and is able to talk about lots of things using Welsh at a level I'm able to cope with. After my first lesson with her a couple of weeks ago I really noticed a difference in the way I was able to understand the spoken language (for example on the radio), so I'm looking forward to even more progress after today's conversation. Speaking is a huge struggle for me but It is such a big help to have someone as encouraging and patient as Marian - I can feel the brain cells clicking away! Diolch yn fawr iawn!

We spent a pleasant half hour in which Marian helped me begin to focus on some of my weaknesses in Welsh. Glad to have met her - sorry she won't be much available for a while.

Marian was very understanding when I started to have doubts. She talked me through my issues and then tailored the practice to my level. She brought out of me words I'd forgotten I knew. She is a wonderful teacher/conversationalist.

This was my first experience of a 1 to 1 lesson and it was very enjoyable. Marian was extremely kind and patient, and I soon felt relaxed. I ended up saying a lot more than I thought I could.
