I am from Pakistan and English and Urdu are my native languages. I have also been learning Hindi and French for the past few years. I have worked as a tutor, translator, editor, and travel writer since 2006. I enjoy discovering new languages and cultures, as well as reading travelogues and books on history.

If you want to improve your conversational skills and become more fluent in Urdu or English, I'd be more than happy to help you. My focus will be on correct pronunciation and vocabulary to help you communicate better. I can also help you learn how to read and write Urdu. Please note that I do not teach students under the age of 18. I also do not offer exam preparation.

My lessons will focus on Urdu or English that you can use in your daily life, so that you can communicate more comfortably with family and friends, or in a business or academic setting. My aim is to help you sound more natural in whatever language you choose to learn from me. I am flexible and will customise the content of the lessons to take account of your needs.

mujhe nastaliq seekhane ke lie bahut shukriya. mujhe bahut accha laga aapse milna. Sufia taught me to read and write urdu. She is patient, organised and is fluent in English. she can teach you urdu writing from the hindi devanagari script too if you know hindi.
