Hello, and thank you for your interest in my classes. My name is Helene and I'm originally from Germany. I love languages and traveling and I try to get a full cultural experience whenever I travel. At the moment I focus on learning Japanese as I just moved from London to Kyoto. I have a TEFL certification for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I also love books, culture, art, technology and foreign movies.
Apart from italki, I fight cyber crime as a product manager focused on fraud detection, and I also work as a technical instructor for data science.Moi en tant que professeur
As a teacher, I am very patient and friendly and will try to support you as much as possible in improving your level in the German and English language. Don't worry if you are just a beginner, because I will help you to get more confidence.
Since I learn languages myself, I can also give you tips for efficient and sustainable learning.

Die Stunden mit Helene sind immer wundervoll!
In wenigen Monaten habe ich viel Neues gelernt und nicht ausschließlich die deutsche Sprache.
Die Themen, die wir zusammen besprechen, sind nämlich vielfältig und umfassen verschiedene Bereiche. Weiterhin ist mein Deutsch deutlich besser geworden und dank Helenes Hilfe habe ich die C2 Goethe Prüfung mit sogar 99% beim Sprechen bestanden.
Mehrmals danke und ich freue mich immer auf unseren nächsten Unterricht!

Ich habe mit einer Reihe von Lehrern den Unterricht gehabt (und zwar mit denen, die pädagogische Bildung haben) und ich muss feststellen, dass diese Lehrerin die Beste ist⭐️Es ist ein Beweis dafür, dass für einen guten und professionellen Unterricht man oft keinen Abschluss im Bereich Pädagogik braucht!
