Hi! My name is Daff, and I’m a native Sudanese Arabic speaker who loves languages and meeting people from different cultures. I grew up in Sudan and spent a lot of time in the Middle East, so Sudanese Arabic is my specialty, but I’m also fluent in a few other Arabic dialects.
A few years ago, I decided to move to Southeast Asia, and now I’m learning Filipino and Korean—it’s been such a fun challenge! At the same time, I’ve been teaching Sudanese Arabic online to students from all over the world. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, learn about Sudanese culture, or just get the hang of the dialect, I’d be happy to help.Moi en tant que professeur
know Arabic can seem like a tough language to learn, but with the right tools, a bit of effort, and regular practice, it can actually be fun and much easier than you think! I also believe one-on-one lessons are super valuable because they let us focus on what you need—whether it’s breaking through any challenges, improving your confidence, or building a solid, long-lasting understanding of the language.

To get the best results, I like to start by understanding where you’re at with the Arabic language—your current knowledge, your goals, and your level of proficiency. From there, we’ll focus on the areas that need the most attention, or if you're a beginner, we’ll start from the basics.
I’ll introduce you to new words, grammar, and phrases regularly, and we’ll work on your pronunciation as much as possible. Along the way, we can also explore different Arabic cultures and traditions, and even watch short films or listen to Arabic music to make learning more fun and immersive.

I really enjoy my lessons and I have learned so much! Daff really understands very well to customise the lessons based on your individual knowledge, level and interests. He effortlessly makes learning fun and easy, so much so that I am often genuinely surprised about how much better I got. I was really scared to talk in Sudanese Arabic when I started and got flustered quickly, but now I gained the confidence to just try and play around with the language.
I learned modern standard Arabic before, but it didn't help me to speak at all. I recommend this teacher to everyone, beginner or advanced and I recommend you to go for the Sudanese dialect right away, it sounds so sweet and rhythmic!
