Hello! My name is Amanda, I've been a teacher for many years. I'm also a lawyer. I lived in England and Ireland. I'm a bit of a nerd, and I love to discuss everything with my students: culture, Philosophy, Science... you name it! Teaching for me is a very rich experience, and I truly love what I do.

Olá! Meu nome é Amanda, sou professora há muitos anos. Sou advogada, mas Línguas são minha paixão desde garotinha. Já morei na Irlanda e na Inglaterra. Sou um bocado nerd: já ofereci tours históricas em Inglês e Português, traduzi quadrinhos... Adoro discutir e aprender com meus alunos, seja sobre Ciências, Filosofia, Cultura, ou o que der na telha!

Sou professora de Inglês e Português, bem como tradutora e intérprete. Através da comunicação podemos nos conectar com outros povos e culturas e, assim, construir pontes. Entender quem meu aluno é e porque eles estão ali é essencial para preparar minhas aulas de forma personalizada.

It's fundamental to understand that learning a language is an extremely personal experience and I am always paying close attention to each student's singularities. Trust and open conversation are always present in my classes, so I can get to understand each one of you.

Professora - Coordenadore de CursoDou aulas particulares e trabalho como tradutora há muitos anos, mas dou aula em empresa desde 2016. Já tive mais de 200 alunos, desde crianças pequenas até senhores de 70 anos nesses anos. Costumo abordar temas comuns, como aprendizado de gramática e vocabulário, bem como ofereço na escola cursos específicos, como Inglês Acadêmico, redação Acadêmica, Inglês para Viagens, dentre outros. Really fun and motivational lesson. My favourite thing was her patience helping me with my accent. I learned what the accents on the vowels mean. I will listen to the recommended youtube music video and follow along with the lyrics.

I had a wonderful, really very special conversation with Amanda today about her adventures in England. I'm really happy for Amanda as she is creating a very nice life for herself with a great group of friends. As an older individual (65), I enjoy hearing the stories of my teachers and how they are overcoming struggles and achieving things in their lives.
