Olga

Another week of lessons with Olga and the past month has been a blast. I really enjoy the variety in our sessions. She talks to me a lot which is great for improving my listening skills. We watch short videos and translate dialogue, she provides exercises and homework, and she lets me struggle a bit when I'm speaking Russian (which I do VERY often). I appreciate your patience and sense of humor Olga. Thank you for helping me with this adventure!

9 months with Olga! If I could hit all of the buttons on this review 100 times I would. Learning Russian on my own was a wonderful experience, but learning Russian with Olga is a serious challenge that I'm so grateful for. Every lesson is motivating and fulfilling. I feel so lucky to have found her in the vast sea of Russian teachers and tutors on Italki. Totally first class!! Thank you for the many hours of your time and patience Olga.

It was really great to meet and speak with Olga. She spoke in Russian almost 90% of the time and was so helpful. She wrote all the new words/sentences I learned, too, and that’s just amazing! She even had the patience to deal with a beginner like me)) Highly recommend)

In September I completed my 100th lesson with Olga over the course of an entire year! It's been an amazing experience to find an instructor so committed to my language-learning journey.

I had a homework assignment to do before today's lesson that Olga and I reviewed this morning. I completely bombed the homework and I was so disappointed, probably visibly, during the review of correct answers. I thought to myself that if I was the teacher I'd want to strangle my student! But Olga was so great about the whole thing, gently correcting my answers and explaining why I was choosing the wrong words. I appreciate that Olga can bring 'the heat' on occasionally to get me focused. Sometimes it takes a couple of steps backward to make a giant leap forward. Ready for my 100th Italki lesson tomorrow Olga!!! Thanks for everything you do.
