Franziska, has been my teacher for three or four years, I started with very little German and as I live in England there is not much opportunity for German speaking. She has helped me describe so many life events including the birth in Germany of a Granddaughter, my work, my retirement, and my wife's recovery from illness, such that she feels like an old friend. She is always super positive, unphased by my mistakes, and is wise and kind. She has a great facility for transcribing the correct German as we talk which makes it look easy though I'm sure it's not. I am now working at around B1, maybe B2 for some elements, and look forward to speaking German to my granddaughter and shortly a new grandson. More importantly, in short she has been a great companion on my journey.
