Lucy is a wonderful teacher: knowledgeable, engaging, and effective. Her knowledge of comparative grammar and vocabulary across many languages makes the lessons particularly helpful and interesting. I've had a few dozen Nahuatl lessons with her and am very happy with the results. The other day I watched a brief video in Nahuatl from the Univ. of Utah and understood everything the speaker said. We're at the point that we read stories in Nahuatl. Lucy can teach in English or Spanish. She has a wide range of teaching material depending on your interests.

I had another great lesson with Lucy. I had a lot of fun exploring the structure of the Nahuatl language. Lucy is energetic and her love of languages comes through in her teaching. It was very helpful studying grammar, reading, and practicing speaking. I look forward to continuing my study of Nahuatl.

excellent lessons, she is happy to tailor them to the dialect i am most interested in and answer very niche questions, very encouraging with pronunciation of very difficult words and very comfortable to spend the time with, she will really put you at ease
