I have been having lessons with Shinne for a year now. Shinnie is patient, respectful and passionate about his students learning. When I thought I wasn’t progressing he showed me how much I have learned and helped restore my confidence. Shinnie has taught me how to study successfully again using his proven methods and my self-confidence has grown. I know Shinnnie teaches people with ADHD, stuttering, mental illnesses, and disabilities as I have some of these conditions. However, he has never discriminated against me and has been truly dedicated to my Korean learning. I have tried learning with other Korean teachers who have given me false compliments which I did not find productive. Shinnie has helpfully pointed out attitudes or habits that have hindered my progress and he is always honest about my skills and goals. You can trust him and just follow his guidance—without overthinking or false delusions. Shinnie is an excellent, top rate teacher. If I can do it, you can too.

Before my classes with Shinnie, I used to try to teach myself Korean with apps, but I never managed to understand this reverse thinking of sentence structures, which are so different from German. It was only through Shinnie's lessons that I understood it. He gave me simple strategies on how to master the complicated Korean grammar. And I also found it very difficult to remember the Korean vocabulary, which often sounds so similar. He also gives very helpful ideas for memorising vocabulary. All in all, it's always a very intensive lesson that provides me with enough material to learn and revise until the next lesson.

Another fantastic lesson! Teacher Shinnie does an amazing job quickly customizing the lesson based on what I'm trying to express - for example, giving vocabulary around a common theme and having me practice grammar related to that topic. Looking forward to the next lesson! :D
