I grew up in Beijing, China and am now living in Kent, the UK. Mandarin is my mother tongue and I speak fluent English. I got an overall 7.0 in my first IELTS test. I am also learning Spanish by myself. I like reading and writing. I also enjoy listening to music, watching movies. I started going climbing with my friends regularly after I moved to Kent and I'm loving it!

Moi en tant que professeur

I’m a flexible teacher. I believe as a teacher, it is important to understand your students' goals and interests to better serve their needs. Besides, I do not believe in learning a language through translation, because finding an equivalent in the learner's L1 for every word in his or her L2 is impossible. I also hold the view that it is crucial for language learners to be able to use the target language in their daily life.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

I am a very easygoing person hence my class is relatively relaxing. However, that doesn't mean I will tolerate procrastination and laziness. I will try my best to make my class interesting and useful at the same time, and I expect my students to put their time into learning too.
