- Traveled Egypt with just one backpack for a month. It's one of the best memories in my 20s and also a turning point of my life. After the trip, I studied English for a year and decided to go oversea.
- Moved to Australia in 2014, living in countryside where you get to see small kangaroos in the backyard. (Snakes too, sometimes!) I used to work as an aged carer in nursing home. Now I'm a home and community support worker. :)Moi en tant que professeur
Before I call myself a teacher, I'm a lifelong learner.
I struggled with English at school like many of us. Years of learning, but still was not able to hold a conversation.
So what made me change?
It’s hard to expect someone to learn languages through random grammar or irrelevant vocabularies. How much do you think it will serve when you actually talk to people?
It's about making personal connection.
That’s what I realised when I nearly got my passport stolen while traveling Egypt.
It made me speak, initiate and argue. I cared nothing but the conversation to deal with it.

My lessons are mostly delivered in Korean, but I can explain in English and French to help you understand better. There's no need to be scared! :)
I provide "Conversation Focused" lessons.
Additional learning materials such as books & PDF file can provide us topics for each class.
After the first lesson, I will give you the syllabus for the next 10 lesson plan. This includes crucial Korean language learning tips for each lesson.
When you start talking in Korean with broken grammar, you might find it intense at first.
But you'll be surprised to see how quickly you're adapting to it.

Korean Language Teachers Program - TOPEDU Education Center - 2021It's a certificate of completion to certify that I've completed 120 hours of Korean Language Teachers Program. I've paid for both the program and the program's practical placement where I had to demonstrate my own class to professors(So this is not a free course!). I've learned how to teach Grammar, Pronunciation, Reading and Listening for all levels. I passed all the assignments and successfully completed the Korean Language Teachers Program.

Again, I had a great lesson with Jihee! She encourages me to speak and try out new grammar. She always helps to incorporate grammar points I have learned with her in the past, strengthening my knowledge. I really enjoy learning Korean in her conversation lessons.

This was my first lesson with 지희 씨 and it was such a great experience! She is so attentive and supportive, and she really helped get to the bottom of what areas I need the most help with as well as how to approach improving them. I very much look forward to my future sessions with her. (:

Had an exciting and fun introductory lesson with 지희 선생님. She made me feel comfortable, and we had a great discussion about my study goals. I learned a lot and laughed a lot. It felt less like a lesson, and more like I was catching up with a friend and practicing Korean. I look forward to having more classes with her.
