Hi everyone!! I´m Esteban from Ecuador, but since 2002 I have lived in the city of Madrid, Spain. I am a musician/audiovisual producer, an amateur cook and I love to travel. I have visited more than 35 countries. I feel very fortunate to have good friends of various nationalities and cultures, who have brought a lot of wisdom to my life. I consider myself an outgoing, sociable and stoic person. I love deep, cultural conversations about new experiences. My philosophy of life is based on perseverance and hard work to achieve my goals. No one is born learning anything but our mistakes and successes are what will take us very far.

Moi en tant que professeur

Thanks to my travels and based on my own experience of how I improved my skills in English and German, I have designed a more natural methodology to get out of the stagnation, improve the student's conversation skills and above all keep alive the flame and interest in Spanish and its cultural diversity. Naturalness and fun are the keys in my conversation coaching sessions.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

My method is based on comprehensive coaching, which covers all topics from the emotional level to increase security and lose the fear of expressing ideas and of course the detection of skills and strengths. In my classes I like to use recipes, curiosities about Latin American and Spanish culture, musical recommendations, history and current affairs. I also like to help the student to prepare their own travel guide with key expressions and vocabulary to be able to express themselves correctly in the country or culture that interests them the most, all naturally and in a fun and friendly way.

Esteban has been my Spanish teacher for about a year. I have thoroughly enjoyed my classes with him and recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their Spanish conversational skills. Esteban is a patient, easygoing and detailed-oriented tutor. I feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions during my lessons, which are critical for picking up a new language. For me, learning Spanish -- a language very different from my mother tongue -- has been a fun and rewarding experience with him.
