Rana Makhlouf

Rana is teaching my 2 daughters (ages 8 and 12). I already know that she is an amazing teacher because I have been taking lessons from her for more than 6 months. But she is so fun with the girls. We all love her!!

I've been studying Lebanese with Rana for over a year now and it's always my favorite part of the day--she's highly engaging and encouraging and I'm never afraid to make a mistake!

Rana is a great teacher. She is very positive and encouraging. She is flexible and responds to all questions. Her questions spark very natural conversations, which make me relaxed and more confident.

Learning Arabic with Rana is like winning VIP backstage passes to the Arabic language! Even though Arabic is difficult and can often feel overwhelming, Rana cuts through all the superficial stuff (that most teachers focus on) and shows you that there's actually a method to the madness. She explains how the language works, why sentences are structured in a particular way, how verbs are balanced phonetically, how to identify patterns in words, etc. After every class, I think, "Wow, that makes sense now!" Rana is an exceptionally talented teacher who is 100% invested in her students' progress. There are hundreds of teachers out there, but finding Rana feels like winning the lottery! Shukran ya Rana. :)

Thank you Rana for another wonderful lesson. Lessons with you are always so much fun and I learn more than I could ever have imagined. :)
