Ciao, I'm Marco, your Italian teacher and language tutor! With a Master's degree in Italian language and CEDILS certification, I'm here to help you reach your language goals. My passion lies in teaching Italian with a focus on culture, literature, travel, art history and food. As an author with published books, I bring creativity to our lessons and I can help you with Italian writing. With over a decade of experience, I've fine-tuned my teaching approach, crafting a personalized method that identifies each student's Italian language weaknesses. Together, we establish a tailored program, ensuring consistency and accountability in your learning journey.
Every lesson is meticulously designed to meet yr specific needs, incorporating targeted exercises and content. I'm providing a wealth of engaging exercises to keep you motivated: I leverage a diverse set of resources, including textbooks, videos, original texts authored by me, online content, and games. Flexibility, consistency, enthusiasm, accountability are the main ingredients of my lessons. Student engagement is important: I'm good to teach but I don't work miracles. We can use audio material, texts, pdf, books+ a lot of structured conversation. I work with students of all levels and I prepare for CELI and others exams. Sometimes we work on writing or discussing articles. According to the need of the student we work on: conversation, pronunciation, grammar rules, sentence construction, idiomatic sentences, writing. I did numerous lessons with Marco over the last months and he is undoubtedly a marvellous teacher. He helped me both with my conversation skills but also with various grammar topics. Marco è un super professore. Non facevo una lezione con lui da gennaio 2024 e mi rendo conto che non ho perso troppo il mio italiano. Ho parlato senza sosta con qualche piccolo passaggio in spagnolo o francese, ma sono felice di riuscire a connettere il mio cervello in italiano. Mi sono anche sorpreso a notare da solo alcuni errori prima che Marco me li facesse notare. Grazie mille, Marco, e a prestissimo!
