I had a great second lesson with Chuan! After an interesting conversation about school in the US vs. China, we learned vocabulary related to travel and airports. The material she uses is organized very nicely, and I enjoy learning and reviewing with it. The dialogues with characters, pinyin, and English translation are especially helpful, because then I can learn the words and grammar in context. I look forward to the next lesson!

We had a very good class this week. We talked about how children go camping and what games they play in the US and in parts of China. I learned a lot of new vocabulary that I can go back to in the chat later to study. Chuan is always interesting and patient and iTalki has worked super well for my hobby of studying Chinese.

Amazing teacher! She matches the pace of conversation so you do not feel rushed. She brings different topics to the table such that every lesson is different

she is both patient and well guide teacher. even if I ask some question she told me a detail understandable way. every lesson is well connencted it so that I can remember more effectively. thank you!

This week we had a fascinating lesson talking about how people behave toward others when discussing (or insulting) their weight or other traits. We not only talked about the vocabulary for these qualities but also about celebrities and modern slang for how people are defending themselves from others insults. It was very interesting and the vocabulary was useful. Chuan is extremely professional and patient and always provides new vocabulary in characters and pinyin so that I can find the words later to study them. The format makes it easy for me to turn the lesson notes into flash cards online. I highly recommend her classes.

I've had classes with Chloe every week for the past couple of months. My confidence and understanding of Mandarin and chinese culture has improved a lot :) Thanks Chloe, looking forward to next time!
