I have been teaching Japanese for about 7 years. First, I taught Japanese in Egypt at two universities and the Japanese Cultural Center(Japan Foundation Cairo office). Now I am teaching Japanese for students who want to proceed to the next level of education in Tokyo. Murakami Sensei is an excellent teacher - very patient, great to talk to, and puts in a lot of extra work outside of lessons as well. I am confident that, through his teaching, I was able to pass the JLPT N3 this year, and will continue working with him as I move toward the N2 level and eventual fluency

The last half a year with Murakami-san was super enjoyable, I recommend his lessons to everyone. : )
The lessons are characterised by variety, great sense of humour, attention to details and cultural tidbits. Whatever your needs are - be it grammar, listening or simply conversation, Murakami-san is your guy.
I was very lucky to find him as a first teacher, can't wait to continue in 2022!

先生の教え方は結果的です。 具体的に 私の日本語の会話能力を評定して練習方法を作ってくれました。 レッスン中、私の発音を修正して 新しい単語もタイプしてくれました。村上先生は 母語が中国語である学生を教えた経験が豊富で 私の間違いを指摘できます。

Great lesson. Went over られる、させる、and させられる, and found out there’s a second way to spell させられる, which is される. No wonder these grammar points felt so confusing to me. Thank you for the help!
