My name is Noah Buffini Higgs. I was born in San Francisco, USA and raised in Dublin, Ireland where I currently live. I studied through Irish in primary and secondary school (until I was 18) and developed a love and passion for the language in my mid-teens.
I studied mechanical engineering at university and I love problem solving. I have a deep interest in Gaelic culture and heritage overall including history, music, spirituality, food and clothing. My mission is to show people how amazing and unique Gaelic culture is!
Moi en tant que professeur
I teach Irish because I really appreciate its beauty and value, and I want to help Irish people and anybody else who's interested to discover that passion in themselves. It's simple; it brings joy to my life, and I want to share that with anybody who wants to try it out.
I love the Gaelic culture overall and I like to include aspects of it in my lessons, as I think it will help you as a learner the more you understand the society and people who created this language.
I studied Irish for 10 years before I really started to like it, because we focused too much on grammar and correctness at school. I want to offer something more original, friendly and relevant for real life!
Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
I've spoken Irish at work and with friends for nearly 10 years now and can help you nail tricky grammar and start making your own sentences with confidence.
I usually prefer to focus on conversation and skills of expression (i.e. talking naturally and in a comfortable way), and having a "feel" for the language. I think this is where I excel, and I think this is the best and most fun material to learn. In general, I'm very open to what the student wants and up for the challenge of designing lessons in a new way for me.

Noah has an agenda which we some how always finish, but he allows me to ask related question about geography, history, The Irish people.
this gives me even more reason to continue on because the language is not in a vacuum.

Noah is very easy to talk to and good at explaining Irish Gaelic sentences. He also makes the pronunciation less intimidating (which is good because on the surface it can seem very complicated). I highly recommend his course and will be continuing to schedule more lessons.
