Hi, welcome to my profile! My name is Linda, native Dutch speaker, and I have been a Community Teacher on Italki for ~3 years. I love languages (I speak the ones spoken in the video, and am also learning -very slowly- Chinese and Italian) and sharing my love for languages with other people. Being a student myself, and I aim to always be one, I know how difficult it can be to communicate in a different language and keep the motivation up. My lessons will strike a balance of fun and educational, focusing on what my student can take home from the lesson. I think, as a teacher, one of the most important skills is to listen to the student's needs and plan the lesson accordingly. At the centre of everything is the student. My lessons and style will depend on the level of the student and purpose of studying the Dutch language. Conversation is a key element, alongside practice in listening, speaking, writing and the necessary grammar. In the first lesson, I would talk with the student about language goals and establish what would be the best plan of action from there. I prefer to speak only Dutch to my students, because I believe it is more effective and challenging in a positive way.Mes ressources d'enseignement

I am an absolute beginner at learning Dutch, so I was a little bit nervous about how I should learn Dutch, but Linda assured me that I had nothing to worry about.
