わたしは日本語のネイティブスピーカーです。夫と二人暮らしです。オーストラリアのシドニーに2年ほど留学していましたので、時々英語でサポートもできます。しかし、レッスンでは、できるだけ英語を使わないようにしています。性格は明るくて前向き、献身的で好奇心旺盛です。最近の趣味は、植物を育てる、絵を描く、読書、散歩、美味しいコーヒーを飲むことです。ファッションや家具も好きです。世界中の人々と出会い、日本語を話しながら交流できることを楽しみにしています♪
I am a native Japanese speaker and live with my hasband. I studied abroad in Sydney for about two years, so I can sometimes support you in English. However,I’m trying to use less English for students:) I am a cheerful, positive,dedicated and curious person. I enjoy growing plants,taking walks,reading books lately. I am flexible and adaptable to the learner and also create lessons with a long-term perspective.I will review with you and teach carefully.As for grammar, we practice a lot and when the student understands it, we move on.

I taught learners of many nationalities and of all ages. They have different pronunciations, ways of thinking, approaches to learning, and I have learnt how to approach them in different ways. I try to understand the needs and characters of my learners and adapt my teaching style to make them feel comfortable in my classes.

Thank you for the great lesson! I appreciate how the classes are always a good mix of some free talk followed by quick review of previous lessons grammar points, followed by new grammar review. One of the most organized and effective teachers I've worked with on italki.

Today was my first lesson with Mayumi-San and it was so fun! I really enjoyed myself. She is kind and welcoming, and is patient and really helpful In helping me with pronunciation, grammar and conversation. Mayumi- san made learning fun! I would 100% recommend her to others wanting to learn Japanese and I will continue to take lessons! ありがとうございま、すまゆみさん！^_^

Every lesson I have with Mayumiさん I feel like I become more confident, and that’s down to how well she teaches. She gives really clear explanations and is very understanding when you don’t get things quite right. I can’t wait for the next one!

Mayumi sensei is very good at explaining difficult grammar points. I've been learning Japanese for years, and she was able to explain some grammar problems that I have wondered about for a long time. I wish I had asked a long time ago! There is always so much to learn and time goes by so fast!

Mayumi-sensei is really earnest in her teaching, she always is looking for ways to improve her students in the most frictionless way possible. She's a kind and dependable teacher, and I might say I owe a lot of what I know to her guidance.
