I was born and raised in Yucatan, Mexico. My first English touch was like an adult, therefore I know the challenge to learn a second language. I am the younger of four siblings. Like Mexican I love with passion my country and our culture. Currently I am living in Winnipeg, Canada. In my house and with friends the only language is English. Nací y me críe en Yucatán, Mexico. Mi primer contacto con el Inglés fue en mi vida adulta por eso se lo desafiante que es aprender un segundo idioma. Soy la menor de 4 hermanos, amo mi país y su hermosa y vibrante cultura. Ahora vivo en Winnipeg, Canada y en mi casa solo se habla inglés.

I completed a trial class with Mercy to gain more conversation practice. Mercy was great at guiding the conversation, getting me to try to speak based on the knowledge I already have, and very nicely providing corrections. She made it clear that we could discuss/learn any topic that I want and she is there to support and practice. I will be booking more classes for sure!
