Jenni

I’m an American living in the United States and I’ve taken 50 Finnish lessons with Jenni. Jenni is an engaging, organized, and punctual instructor. She does an incredible job at adapting lesson plans to help me better understand the material. She creates a welcoming learning environment. I don’t feel embarrassed when I make mistakes, struggle with pronunciation, or request a review of previous lessons. I appreciate how she provides feedback and encourages me at times when I may doubt myself or feel unsure. I also like how she uses a variety of different resources to teach. These resources include things like articles, word walls, videos, audios, etc. As she teaches she also shares information about Finnish culture. Jenni is a phenomenal teacher and I highly recommend working with her.

Jenni is an excellent teacher. She is always well prepared, enthusiastic, and patient. Finnish can be very difficult and confusing but she takes things in manageable pieces and builds on it step by step. The homework is easily accessible and is supportive of what we worked on in the lesson.
