彦莉（Zhāng lǎo shī）

She was very attentive to my needs and quickly worked to fix areas I needed help in without fail. She is able to help students learn a variety of new words in a short amount of time, and always checks in to make sure they’re following along.

I'm having a blast. Teacher is cool, supportive and patient. She speaks Chinese the whole time, which is great to improve listening.

Really have enjoyed my classes with 彦莉. Appreciate she speaks chinese almost the whole time and uses chinese to explain words I don't understand

Zhang Lao Shi is a great teacher! She is patient when working through hard material and will keep explaining and giving examples until you understand the concepts. I look forward to taking more lessons with her!

We just completed our 3rd lesson and she has been a fantastic teacher as beginners! Even though we are beginners, most of the lesson is in Chinese, and is the right mix of easy to follow while still being challenging. At the beginning of each lesson we do a review of what we learned last time, and she sends a list of characters, audio, and pinyin of what we learned for study in between lessons. I couldn't recommend more!

Zhang Lao Shi is a very effective teacher. She is skilled at working with beginner learners to help them understand and begin to speak in sentences.
