Taka

Taka san is a very calm, patient, well-prepared and charismatic teacher. As a beginner who solo studied by books and Anki app, my focus has been on conversation practice to build phrases and improve my listening comprehension. And Taka san always prepares interesting topics and material for our lessons, showing examples and also explaining about Japanese culture. It's been an adorable and fun journey.

Taka sensei is very patient, good balance of typing assistance while explaining so you can see the kanji, English, or hiragana as needed. Even during conversation practice she is able to explain a lot of grammatical hiccups or confusion. Great teacher, easy to work with in every lesson.

Taka always takes extra time to give a review of topics and good feedback. The lesson is mostly fun but has a lot of great materials to review as well. She seems quiet at first but is a very careful listener. I recommend Taka as a teacher for anyone who wants to express themselves better in Japanese.

Taka sensei is a wonderful teacher. It's easy to talk to her and I can feel my improvement with each lesson. She's kind and patient and always shares with me the new words and phrases we discuss after each lesson. 10/10 would recommend her!
