I am halfway through my first package with Luigi, and have found the lessons so far to be perfectly adapted to my needs. Luigi is easy to talk to and very good at explaining the subtle differences between alternative ways of phrasing a particular thought. I also find it helpful that he is familiar with multiple languages and can draw instructive comparisons and contrasts among them. Highly recommended.

Luigi is a natural teacher. He tailors your session to your goals, and ensures that you reach those goals easily. Our sessions are a combination of conversation and grammar. Afterwards, I feel secure that my Italian is on point and current. If you are looking for an Italian tutor, Luigi is your best choice.

I have been taking lessons from Luigi for almost a year. We talk about a broad range of topics, and as a result, my vocabulary and ability to converse in Italian have improved immensely. Luigi is extremely engaging, friendly, and patient. He is great a creating an environment where I am not afraid to make mistakes: he strikes a good balance between gently correcting and encouraging. Another thing that I really appreciate about him is that he follows up on questions that come up during our sessions, often sending an answer or insight via message mid-week. It really shows that he cares about his students’ learning. If you are looking to improve your Italian, I definitely recommend you try a lesson with Luigi.

I really enjoyed my first conversation with Luigi. He's a really good guy, very relaxed and down-to-earth. We were able to converse just as any two people would have in-person, about a wide range of topics: family, careers, traveling, cultural and linguistic interests, politics, and economics.
