Yet another enjoyable and insightful lesson with Beryl. She always makes you feel comfortable and at ease when speaking and she teaches you so many new words / ways of saying things that have helped me improve my grasp of the language (we discuss everything from politics to star signs to menus in restaurants!). On top of all this, we also work on writing which, as a result, has really helped my confidence in the language grow. Thank you Beryl! Until next class!

Beryl is an incredibly kind and caring 老師。The learning environment she creates is very comfortable and engaging, which is perfect when it comes to learning. With Beryl, I feel myself growing my language skills in a relaxed and natural manner. Learning never feels forced, stressful, or nerve-wracking. Beryl equips you with the tools (grammar, vocabulary, practice, etc.) for you to be successful. This is due to her patience and encouragement, as well as her creativity and careful attention in ensuring the class suits your learning style. 今天 老師 created lots of example sentences ahead of time so I could practice distinguishing when to use 不 and 沒。 Her explanation and the custom content she created was incredibly helpful. I think it really clicked. Lastly, the 功課 that she provides is immensely helpful because it helps reinforce what you have learned in previous classes. As always, it's a real joy to be able to learn 中文 with Beryl. 謝謝老師！

Beryl is such a wonderful teacher. She makes the language very approachable. I am anxious about messing up, which has been a barrier to learning in the past for me. She always creates a patient, friendly, non-judgemental environment where I don't have to be nervous to mess up. She facilitates great conversations on my level of language learning and provides structured lessons paired with some immersion.

Always a nice session with Beryl. I still have much to learn and improve upon, but I never feel scrutinized or dumb when I'm in class with her. She helps facilitate easygoing conversations with useful everyday phrases in an natural manner. I look forward to attending another class with her.
