Soy Licenciada y Profesora en Letras por la Universidad de Buenos Aires, una de las más prestigiosas de Latinoamérica. Nací en México, pero vivo en Buenos Aires desde 2018. También me apasiona el cine y la fotografía, y estudié danza profesional cuando era adolescente.
I have a bachelor and a teaching degree in Literature from the University of Buenos Aires, one of the most prestigious in Latin America. I was born in Mexico, but I have lived in Buenos Aires since 2018. Soy muy cálida y amigable, me interesa desarrollar una buena relación con mis estudiantes. Tengo mucha facilidad para explicar gramática y pronunciación. Siendo hablante nativa, puedo ser exigente con los detalles con los estudiantes avanzados, pero también aliento a los principiantes a hablar y comunicarse sin importar los errores.
I am very warm and friendly, I am interested in developing good relationships with my students. I'm very good at explaining grammar and pronunciation. Me interesa enseñar desde la práctica. La gramática y las reglas de la lingüística son muy importantes al principio, pero en mi experiencia siempre se aprende mas estando en contacto con el idioma en contexto, así que le pongo mucha importancia a la conversación y a usar materiales que hablantes nativos podrían leer o escuchar cotidianamente.
I am interested in teaching from practice. Grammar and rules of linguistics are very important at the beginning, but in my experience you always learn more when you have contact with the language in context, so I place a lot of importance on conversation and using materials that native Spanish speakers could read or listen daily.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Giovanna has a really great ability to identify the needs of the day and adapt a class to meet those needs. She always has a multitude of lesson materials and activities ready to pull from. I think this speaks highly to not only her experience as a teacher but also to her dedication to ensuring each of her students gets the most benefit from their time in class!

Excellent lesson! Giovanna crafted the lesson based on my performance in previous lessons, and gave me the chance to listen, speak, read, and learn grammar rules and uses. She is very warm and affable, and was very patient while I tried to form more complex sentences. I've tried several teachers on iTalki, and am very fond of Giovanna's teaching style and pace.
