It is always motivating to use hobbies or interest as a base for learning a language! Besides the theory of grammar which always comes with it, the fun-part should never be missed! The most important aspect is the motivation! As for myself I do enjoy teaching, pointing out new ways and possibilities of learning. Accompanying my students in their learning or improving process. I did a training to be a certified German teacher from the Goethe Institut (Lehrerin für Deutsch als Zweit- und Fremdsprache --> DaF/DaZ-Zertifikat) which I completed successfully in April 2023.

Interesting conversations at your language level. My preferred way of learning and teaching languages is through conversation, songs and games. We can talk about the cultures of different countries, current affairs or about art, music, literature, film and TV. This is a good way of getting comfortable in a language and of using words and phrases that are actually useful. We can look at a song together and think about the words. Perhaps you can learn the words of songs by heart for your homework in order to memorise useful expressions.

I LOVE it to teach, to learn and sharing knowledge. We have the ability to constantly learn something new. And if we´re enjoying it, then learning becomes easy - that helps us to reach our goals faster. And if some things need more time then accept it and don´t, everything is a process. If the seed is planes the flower will bloom when time is right. Many of my students are saying that I´m funny – I believe them. In that case I guess our lessons could be fun but I´m also patient, helpful, and supportive.

Ich bin seit acht Jahren Deutschlehrerin. Bitte beachte, dass ich keinen Skypeunterricht anbiete! Ich bin sehr geduldig und orientiere mich stets an den Wünschen und Bedürfnissen meines Schülers. Ich möchte, dass mein Schüler keine Angst vor dem Sprechen hat oder auch das Machen von Fehlern ist erwünscht. Denn mein Ziel ist es, dass der Schüler nach jeder Deutschstunde etwas Neues lernt. Ich möchte hierbei auch verdeutlichen, dass ich Absagen, die in weniger als 24 Stunden vor dem geplanten Unterricht getätigt werden, nicht länger akzeptieren werde. I come from a family of teachers. I had several opportunities to teach English to primary school classes. In my time as an Au pair in the USA, I also had my host kids as my first German students.

I am a certified teacher for German as a foreign language (Goethe-Institute). I have also done an M.A. in Chinese language. I am now fluent in German, Chinese (HSK 5), English (Bulats C2), and French (B2) and currently learning Dutch additionally, because it might help to understand Afrikaans and Bahasa Indonesia. I work as a language teacher since 2013. Ich denke, meine Aufgabe in dieser Welt ist die Lehre. Sprachen sind dabei ein Weg, zu globalem Wissen und zu einer besseren Welt beizutragen. Ich habe Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch in verschiedenen Ländern und Kontexten unterrichtet – privat, an der Universität und in einer Sprachschule. Ich bin froh, nun auf italki zu unterrichten. Teaching you to speak a good German, exam preparation.... I have experience teaching German on all levels. I accompanied/taught several students from zero to a high level (C1 exams or higher). I have experience in preparing students for "Goethe" and "telc" exams. I am happy to teach absolute beginners as well as advanced learners.
