Making amazing life experiences possible with language I have served as a teacher for the past seven years. I have taught in a variety of contexts and roles. My experiences include: - teaching adults in a language institute - teaching young children online - serving as a school leader of a Montessori kindergarten - teaching youth in a boarding school - teaching refugee adults I have more than fifteen years experience learning languages. I have reached a level of A2 to C2 in eight languages. I came to understand that the most important thing for learning a language is building relationships with others. For that reason, my intention as a teacher is to be both a professional teacher and a friend to my students.

For those whose level is not good enough yet for a proper conversation, I'll teach you grammar and vocabulary to get you started. I have a postgraduate teaching qualification from the Goetheinstitut but more important I have been learning and teaching languages nearly all my life so I have experienced both sides. In my own experience, if you want to learn a language, the most effective and fun way is talking with a (native) speaker. My native language is German but I also speak English and a little French and dutch. The German I speak is "hochdeutsch" which means it is the standard German without a dialect. I also have some teaching experience: I have been tutoring other students for many years now, both in high school and at university. I always enjoy getting to meet new people this way.
