In this lesson I will give a short session using my curriculum after determining your English level and goals. You will get a sense of my teaching style and become familiar with the classroom.  This trial is for anyone CEFR A1 to C1, or for someone looking to try my Business English curriculum. If you know your CEFR placement please let me know!

The step by step course uses a well developed and engaging English curriculum.  You will practice reading, speaking, listening, and writing across a wide selection of topics while being engaged by great visuals.  These lessons progress at your pace - if we need to spend time practicing with a grammar point, or if you would like to engage more freely on a topic, we can!  My curriculum's library is vast, with lessons for all CEFR levels ranging from A1 to C1.

I suggest we have class on Zoom, but we can also use Skype or the iTalki classoom.

Please be aware that all hour long lessons will end between 55 and 57 minutes and will start on time. Thirty and forty-five minute lessons will also end a minue or two early. This allows me to prepare for my next class.

Step by Step English for CEFR A1 to C1

This course is designed to increase your overall English fluency by introducing new business vocabulary and through discussion. You will learn skills for business situations while building your confidence in English to help you feel comfortable speaking with your coworkers. If you have specific areas in which you would like to focus please let me know and I'll suggest lessons or let you pick topics of interest from my library.

Business English for Overall Professional Development

This course is designed for children from 6-13 years old who would like to practice reading and speaking. I will use Reading A-Z stories for a series of lessons to help students gain confidence in their reading while growing their vocabulary.  Children are encouraged to ask questions and we can explore the questions they have about the material.

Reading and Conversation for Kids

This is a course designed for adults* looking to make conversation across a wide variety of topics.  I prepared lessons to help you practice your fluency, learn new vocabulary, and become polished and confident in your conversation skills.  There will be short readings, but there will not be grammar review.  You should be at a B2 or C1 level for this course.

Conversation for Adults

This course is designed for children aged 4-8 who are new to learning English or are beginners.  Students can sing, circle answers, type sentences or words, and draw lines to match answers with pictures to enhance their engagement with the lesson.  If you are familiar with a platform like VIPKID, these lessons are similiar in style.

Lessons are designed to last 30 minutes and I do not recommend booking a 1 hour lesson for this course, the option is only available because iTalki forces the inclusion of a 60 minute lesson.  Please only book 30 minute lessons.

I worked as a territory sales rep for the Oskar Blues Brewery from 2014 to 2017. I was responsible for coordinating with our local distributors in NYC and Westchester county. I prepared annual business plans and presented them. I sent thousands of professional emails to customers, our distributor, our accounts and potential accounts. I also made thousands of sales calls to accounts to negotiate with the owner or manager.

I worked for VIPKID for 2 years and taught over 6000 lessons. To get every VIP Kid certificate you were required to take a short class and pass a quiz. I have been teaching children since 2017 when I worked for a school in Thailand as an ESL Grade 5 teacher, and later as a Grade 4 Homeroom teacher at an International School.
