My English lessons for kids are designed for children of all ages and levels. In our first lesson, I will assess your child's current English skills and create a personalized study plan. The lesson structure will be tailored to their age and level.

The lessons can include activities such as conversation practice, grammar exercises, reading, writing, and vocabulary building. We can also follow a specific book or learning program if that is preferred.

I focus on your child's specific English needs to help them improve in areas where they may be struggling and to help them move towards fluency.

In our conversation classes, we'll focus on improving your fluency through engaging practice. We can choose topics together and create a plan to focus on areas you'd like to work on.

Each class may include general conversation or discussions based on videos, articles, or other materials you review before the lesson.

Conversation Practice

In these structured lessons, we'll work together to improve your listening, speaking, reading, and grammar skills through carefully planned lessons.

These lessons follow a more 'traditional' approach, where each session is designed to focus on a specific area of learning. We will use various materials, including PowerPoint presentations, worksheets, and other resources, to support our lessons and make learning engaging.

The lessons will be focused and methodical, targeting specific skills to ensure steady progress. I will create a personalized curriculum based on your unique needs and goals. After our first meeting, I'll assess your strengths and areas for improvement, then design a plan that we will follow to help you achieve your language objectives.

Structured Lesson

In these lessons, I will help you improve your pronunciation and develop a more neutral American accent.

Our lessons will be tailored to your specific needs. We’ll focus on individual sounds and practice applying what we've learned by reading challenging texts, such as poetry, speeches, and tongue twisters.

During class, we will:

Work on identifying and articulating vowels and consonants
Explore how changes in intonation can affect meaning
Practice correct articulation, rhythm, and intonation
Apply principles of English sentence stress, rhythm, and linking

Together, we'll work on building clear and natural pronunciation. Slang can also be an added bonus! :)

Pronunciation

This lesson is for all of your writing needs. It's best for those who need help with an essay, resume, emails, cover letters, articles, and presentations.  You can expect to have guidance that focuses on errors AND also adjustments of the tone and style in order to take your writing to the next level. 

The following options for this service include:

1. Meeting in the classroom and working on developing and editing the text together. The price for this option is as listed. You can expect to have grammatical and spelling errors detected and corrected. You will also benefit from having assistance with structure and style while writing. 

2. *Not a lesson* The documents can be sent to me and I will send back the edited texts. The cost of this option depends on the text that needs to be edited. You will send me the document and then a price and deadline can be agreed upon. Once this is agreed upon, we will book the "lesson" with the price change. 

Please write to me about your specific needs for each document so that I can best reach the desired goal and price fairly.
