Oficial: Buenas tardes, señor/a. ¿Cómo puedo ayudarle?

Víctima: Buenas tardes, oficial. Alguien entró a mi casa y robó mis cosas.

Oficial: Lo siento mucho. ¿Cuándo ocurrió el robo?

Víctima: No estoy seguro/a. Salí esta mañana y cuando regresé, la puerta estaba abierta.

Oficial: ¿Nota si falta algo dentro de la casa?

Víctima: Sí, se llevaron mi televisor, mi computadora y algo de dinero en efectivo.

Oficial: ¿Vio a alguien sospechoso cerca de su casa antes de salir?

Víctima: No, pero mi vecino dijo que vio a un hombre merodeando por la zona.

Oficial: ¿Tiene cámaras de seguridad en su casa o en la zona?

Víctima: No en mi casa, pero creo que el edificio de enfrente tiene cámaras.

Oficial: Muy bien, tomaremos su declaración y revisaremos las cámaras de seguridad.

Víctima: ¿Cree que podrán recuperar mis cosas?

Oficial: Haremos todo lo posible. Necesito que haga una lista detallada de los objetos robados.

Víctima: De acuerdo, la haré ahora mismo.

Oficial: También enviaremos una patrulla a la zona para investigar.

Víctima: Gracias, oficial. Espero que puedan encontrar a los responsables.

[前回より]  男は私が渡したペットボトルの水をゆっくり飲み始めた。それから、大きく深呼吸をした。


その男はゆっくりていねいに私に質問した。

男　「日本語上手だね〜、どこ出身ですか？」

私　「イタリア出身です。」

男はとても驚いているようだ。

男　「えっ、イタリア人！？、どこ？」

私　「シシリアです。」

男　「まじで〜！　行ったことあるよ、少し住んでいた。」

男は50才くらいだろう。初対面なので、ていねいな話し方だったが、私がイタリア出身の事と私より彼が年上なので、ていねいな話し方とくだけた話し方を混ぜている。

男　「昔にイタリア料理の勉強で1ヶ月いたんだ。なつかしいなー、、　日本は観光で？」

私　「今回は2回目です。」

男　「そうなんだ〜、いいね〜！」

私は声を出さずに笑顔でうなずいた。

男　*「　ところでさ〜、俺が　み•え•る•の？」

[From last time] The man began to slowly drink from the plastic bottle of water I had given him. Then he took a deep breath.


The man asked me a question slowly and carefully.

The man said, "Your Japanese is very good.

I said, "I am from Italy.

The man seemed very surprised.

The guy "What, Italian?  Where?

Me - "Sicilia.

Guy - "Seriously!　I've been there, lived there for a while."

The guy must have been about 50 years old. Since we had never met before, he was very polite, but since I was from Italy and he was older than me, he mixed polite and casual speech.

The guy "I spent a month studying Italian cooking a long time ago. I miss it. Are you in Japan as a tourist?

Me "This is my second time."

Guy - "Oh yeah, that's great!"

I nodded with a smile without speaking.

Guy *"By the way, do you see me?
