Japanese has many saying include the word, "mizu=water". Today, I'll introduce five of them.

さて、今日は青森県について、話します。
青森は聞いたことがありますか？

青森は北海道の下にある都道府県の名前です。
大きさは、9,600km2
人口は、120万人

県の木はヒバ
県の花はリンゴの花
県の鳥はハクチョウ

です。

人口は全国で31位。
大きさは全国8位。

湖や山などの自然が数多く残されています。
世界遺産(せかいいさん)の白神山地(しらかみさんち)があります。

青森は農業が有名です。
特に、リンゴ、ナガイモ、ニンニクは、
全国一の生産量です。

祭りは青森ねぶた祭が有名です。
ねぶた祭りは、大型の灯籠(とうろう)を作って、まちを練り歩きます。
毎年8月のはじめぐらいから、1週間近く、お祭りがあります。

灯籠(とうろう)には、日本や中国の伝説(でんせつ)や歴史上(れきしじょう)の人物(じんぶつ)、歌舞伎(かぶき)、神仏(しんぶつ)などをテーマにすることが多いようです。

個人的には、ねぶた祭りはまだ見たことがないので、必ず見たい！と思います。
