"Lovable" means being worthy of love - it's a character trait. "Lovely" means beautiful; charming; very pleasing in form, looks, tone, or manner.

Hi Carolina, they're both an adjective. Lovable means very easy to love (described an attitude or trait of someone) Lovely means a very beautiful person or attractive to look at (described an attraction based on physical appearance) Anyway in other case lovely can also be used to describe someone's trait, for example to tell his/her kindness or geniality.

Both words have a range of uses. ‘Lovely’ is just a non-specific positive adjective It’s also used sarcastically in the opposite sense to express displeasure. A: They’re out of stock. B: Lovely. (That’s annoying) ‘Lovable’ could be used to talk about love but it’s usually much milder - affection or positive feeling. It’s a bit more positive than ‘likable’.
