What is your background in Tibetan Buddhism or in any other Buddhist tradition?
I read about Buddhism, starting with the Theravāda. I like to travel during school
holidays, so I've stayed in different monasteries, such as (the) Wat Prayong International Meditation Center and (the) Wat Pah Nanachat, since spiritual life is important to me. My CELT-P (Certificate in English Language Teaching – Primary) trainer introduced Tara Mandala to me, and I went there. I was given the book Feeding Your Demons. I brought it to China and gave it to my trainer, who studied Zen in Japan.
Before my grandmother passed away in the hospital, she still chanted “Amitabha Buddha” three times with an oxygen mask and many other
devices. She didn't know what is meant because she was illiterate, but you can see how deep Buddhism goes in our culture.
