Are both sentences correct? If they’re, what’s the difference? My mum would’ve loved on my going to college. My mom would’ve loved for me to go to college. Thanks!

The second one is correct for expressing the idea that your mom or mum (American vs British) would have been happy with the idea that you are going to college. "Loved on" is used colloquially to say that you are treating someone with love. "My mom loves on me whenever I am home by giving me lots of hugs and kisses"
