DuoLingo Clubs Does anyone here use DuoLingo? They just implemented a new feature that allows you to create or join a club for the language you are learning. Each language has a separate club, and the clubs allow you to be motivated by some friendly competition. :) I am using DuoLingo for several languages, most seriously for French and Spanish. They currently require users to have a code to join a club, so it can be difficult to find a club to join. And so far, you can only comment on a club member's activity using a few DuoLingo-provided phrases. It makes it hard to build a relationship with the other club members if you do manage to find a club to join that isn't full of your friends. Maybe there should be some clubs created for italki members who want to exchange languages and also use DuoLingo together. :)

Russian is one of the languages I am using it for, as well. I used to know how to read and write the Russian alphabet many years ago, but I have forgotten most of it. It's nice to have the opportunity to refresh my memory and learn more of this language. Right now DuoLingo does not allow people to join a club if they are from different native languages, even if their target language is the same. I hope they will add this option as they get feedback on this feature. :)

Merci, Christian, mais j'ai déjà créé un club sur DuoLingo pour le français. Si quelqu'un voudrait me joindre, le code est F4HBN7. :)

Cordialement Christian

I am a native french speaker, i also use Duolingo for one year ago. I think that is very interesting.

I am available to share my experiences and my knowledges with the others.
