I'd like to share with you a suggestion for German learners. As a student myself, I have tried a couple of methods, but if you're starting or maybe you're already intermediate and want to practise a little bit everyday and don't know where to start, I'd like to suggest Nicos Weg, by Deutsche Welle, available here: https://learngerman.dw.com/en/beginners/c-36519789

It's a series that tells  the story of Nico in Germany. You watch a small video everyday (or whenever you want) and can do activities regarding the subject studied. There are lessons for different levels, from A1 to B2. They don't take long and you practise listening and some grammar (you also write and speak a little). It can be a way to start without having to buy/download lots of things.

Of course, you start on B1, for example, you may miss the beginning of the story, but all the videos are available on Youtube. Besides, Deutsche Welle has many other free options for German students.
