What discovery in the last 100 years has been most beneficial for people in your country?

In the last 100 years, they had there have been a lot of extraordinary discoveries. And each of discoveries has had a large impact in the society. But I'm a young people of 24 years old from 24 year old person from France, it's impossible to for me to talk efficiently about discoveries that appeared before I born. That's why I choose have chosen to talk about Internet. In my point of view, Internet is the discovery with the larger largest impact on the people in my country and always all the people in the entire world. Internet is a discovery who that ('who' is only for people) continues to evolve each year. The benefits of the internet increase every day. In this essay, I will present the four reasons that pushed me to choose internet like as the best discovery in the last 100 years.

Firstly, the internet offers the possibility to keep in touch with everybody in any situation. For example, if a person in your family decides to go live in foreign country, very far away that your own country, you can communicate with her on them in real time by Internet. Before Internet, they are there were only two ways for to communicate:
-By phone, but it's really expansive;
-By post, but your letter arrives only after two weeks or more time!

Secondly, Internet is a large base of resources about a large range of various themes. You can read on the internet the literature of writers from around the world. Before the internet, when you search some specific information it was is very hard and took a long time to found find it because you needed to look for many books in a library.

Thirdly, you have access to information in real time. For example, two weeks ago when the terrorist attack happened at Charlie Hebdo in Paris, the entire world could have the information instantly. The internet helped to find recent illegal activities of the two terrorists and find the friends who helped the Kouachi's brothers' for terrorist attempt. Each concerned country were was able to make link contact and help France and Europe to fight terrorism.

Fourthly, network is exploding with the discovery of Internet. Now you can talk with someone that you never see physically. About After the terrorist attack in Paris two weeks ago, only few hours or days after the attack we could see on Facebook an impressive number of people from entire world who expressed messages of support to Parisian and French people within a few hours or days. The sentence "Je suis Charlie" was taken written on Twitter by much more than five millions of people.
