So, to follow ะ by a consonant, it is either changed to ้ or ั
อะ and โอะ use ั:
กะ (ga) -- กัก (gak)
โกะ (geo) -- โกัก (geok)

เอะ and แอะ use ้:
เกะ (ge) -- เก้ก (gek)
แกะ (gae) -- แก้ก (gaek)

do these vowels use ้ and ั at all?
เกาะ (gar) -- ?? (gark)
เกอะ (ger) -- ?? (gerk)

the two vowels are short sounds.

most of the thai vowels are in pairs. such as

ะ   า
อิ    อี
อึ  อื
อุ  อู
เอะ เอ
แอะ  แอ
โอะ  โอ
เออะ  ออ

–ุ	–ู	เ	โ	ใ	ไ	–็	
อ	ว	ย	ฤ	ฤๅ

the way you wrote isn't the compairative  vowels.
