"taberu(tabemasu)" ex) watashi wa maiasa ringo wo taberu(tabemasu). (I eat an apple every morning.) "tabetemas" should be "tabeteimasu" which means "be eating". ex) watashi wa ima ohirugohan wo tabeteimasu. (I'm eating lunch now.) "tabeteimasu" is pronounced like "tabetemas" in a conversation.

taberu (食べる) is the infinitive form of the verb - to eat tabemasu (食べます)can be either the present tense of the verbe or the future tense. tabete imasu (食べています)is the present progressive tense

taberu is a verb that means "to eat". tabemasu (pronounced "tabemas"...there is no "s" by itself in Japanese) means "eat" or "eating". tabete means "eat", which is the imperative. I have never heard tabetemasu before. I highly recommend moving quickly away from romaji to at least hiragana. It may make the verb conjugation easier to understand, and sets you up for success in learning Japanese.
